Persona 4 where is yosuke on sunday

I know some variant of this must have been in the past, but I'm a little concerned. I've saved Kanji and now I'm waiting for him to recover. The problem is that every time he's supposed to be around outside of 2F near the stairs, the little fucker doesn't show up. I've tried this for a few days now and still nothing. Does he simply not appear after saving someone for a while? I'm a little worried.
