Our work in cancer began with the discovery of taxol and we have made extensive contributions to advance cancer registration activities, cancer screening program implementation, cancer related health communications and cancer economics.
One of her key mandates is to coordinate and enhance cancer research activities across RTI divisions. Membership in UICC will allow RTI to better coordinate and align, both externally and internally funded project activities, with ongoing international collaborative efforts.
For example, RTI is currently playing a lead role in supporting the Global Initiative for Cancer Registry Development by documenting the business case for cancer registration and identifying efficient approaches to implement and enhance cancer registration activities.
